Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy

El mensaje de Rage Against The Machine con su tema Know Your Enemy (RATM - 1992) es claramente político. Y está dedicado a todos aquellos que aún creen que Estados Unidos es la tierra de la esperanza y la libertad y que no se dan cuenta, o mejor dicho, no se quieren dar cuenta de como el Gobierno les miente y los mantiene con la cabeza abajo sin esperanzas ni la tal mentada libertad.

A pesar de eso, me imagino que este tema también podría ser un himno para todos aquellos, cuales potros salvajes no se dejan dominar a buenas a primeras por quienes están arriba en la escala del poder. Y es que siempre existirán seres que se resistirán a todos esos enemigos que la canción expresa al final: Acuerdo, conformidad, sumisión, ignorancia, hipocresía, brutalidad y la elite. Yo soy uno de esos que no soporta el control basado en lo antes mencionado, y aunque pueda aguantarlo por un tiempo, siempre llega el momento que digo basta.

Esa actitud desafiante ante la injusticia de quien por derecho podría pisotearme, me ha traido problemas y la mirada atónita de aquellos que en la oscuridad prometen que algún día dentro de los próximos tres mil años dejarán las cosas claras por su cuenta. Esta fue una semana en donde otra vez mi mente revolucionaria se activó con otro superior, no sé que llegaré a perder, pero la tranquilidad que te da el no dejarte aplastar es impagable. Y es que si llegas a conocer a tu enemigo sólo tienes dos opciones: Luchar por tus derechos con la frente en alto o morir cobarde y lentamente asintiendo la cabeza en silencio.
