Prince - The Most Beautiful Girl In The World

El controvertido cantante norteamericano, Prince (n. 7 de Junio de 1958) es ampliamente reconocido por el disco y la película Purple Rain de 1984. Yo recién lo comencé a conocer con Cream y el tema Batdance del Soundtrack que compuso para la película Batman. Y aunque no soy un seguidor de su música, hay un tema llamado The Most Beautiful Girl In The World el cual me encantó desde la primera vez que lo escuché.

Esta canción aparecería en el disco The Gold Experience (1995) y habría sido dedicada a Mayte Garcia, su entonces novia y luego esposa. Lo interesante de este track es la manera en que canta Prince, quien con la agudeza de su voz hace de esta moderna balada una experiencia gustosa de disfrutar. Acerca de las letras, el título ya lo dice todo, este tema está compuesto para la mujer que uno ama y adora. Y se vuelve doblemente hermosa cuando se la dedicas a la persona que está junto a ti y la que te hace pensar que ella fue la razón por la que Dios creó una mujer.

Una mujer puede llegar a ser tremendamente hermosa en el exterior gracias a su interior, es decir, sus sentimientos, dulzura, entrega y amor. Es por eso que cuando un hombre quiere a una mujer ve como el rostro de ella se vuelve tan suave y lindo como una flor, siendo ninguna otra capaz de igualar su belleza. Y si estás enamorado como yo, comprenderás cuando digo que después de ella sólo te queda morir, pero agradecido, por haber conocido y tenido entre tus brazos a la mujer más hermosa del mundo.
