Recuerdo cuando leí la crítica del disco Diva de My Sister's Machine a principios de los noventa. Eran presentados como un grupo Grunge muy Hard Rockero, con un ex miembro de Alice In Chains, con mucho Wah-Wah en sus guitarras y con un vocalista que era una mezcla de Axl Rose con Ozzy Osbourne. Ahora eso sería como llegar y decir: Shut Up and take my money!
En realidad, tan magníficos no eran, pero tan malos tampoco. Y es que algunas de sus canciones todavía suena en mi playlist porque de una u otra manera fueron parte de aquel movimiento musical que marcó una generación en la que yo estaba incluído.
El tema que les presento se llama Wasting Time. Ya el título es digno de un grupo Grunge de la época y nos habla de arrepentirse de las cosas que uno hizo o no hizo en el pasado y que pesan cuando sabes que no tienes un DeLorean para volver atrás y cambiar lo que ya no se puede modificar.
