Soundgarden - Mailman

Mailman es la canción del disco Superunknown (1994) que aparece inmediatamente después de mi favorita, Fell On Black Days. Y supongo que muchas veces en mi equipo musical se me pasó de largo después de la otra. Porque, aunque no es una de mis imprescindibles, vaya que me se la letra y la disfruto muchísimo.

Mailman es un tema bastante pesado y agobiante, creo que es el Angry Chair de Alice In Chains en Dirt (1992). A pesar de todo, me gusta esa melodía como sucia, de revancha o enojo que transmite, algo así como la esencia de lo que el Grunge representa. Aunque a Chris Cornell (20 de julio de 1964 - 18 de mayo de 2017) pareciera no haberle gustado etiquetar las cosas o darle nombres o títulos.

Esta canción me parece a simple vista que habla acerca de un tipo obsesionado por alguien. También, me parece que Mailman es un slang que quizás se refiere a algún tipo de práctica sexual, porque a mi parecer la canción tiene muchos eufemismos a lo Ricardo Montaner.
