Rainbow - Long Live Rock N Roll

Asi es, el Rock es la única tendencia musical que tiene la gracia de nunca pasar de moda. No importa cuantos años transcurran, cuantos nuevos movimientos musicales aparezcan, el rock siempre está ahí, y afirmo con total seguridad que también lo estará hasta el fin de los tiempos. Todo el que lo oye, aun no siendo fanático, le tiene respeto y aunque nadie lo ponga durante mucho tiempo, al momento de aparecer a nadie le dará verguenza escucharlo y siempre tendrá el gustito de ser tan fresco como el día que fue concebido.

La canción Long Live Rock & Roll del grupo Rainbow, es un clásico ejemplo producto de la mente maestra del guitarrista Ritchie Blackmore (n. 14 de Abril de 1945). Este tema aparecería en el disco del mismo nombre que a la postre sería el último con el cantante Ronnie James Dio quien luego se enlistaría en Black Sabbath de Toni Iommi (n. 19 de Febrero de 1948), otro dotado de la música.

Y de que habla esta canción: A simple vista pareciera estar describiendo los espectaculares efectos que produce cierto alucinógeno. O porqué no, todas las excelentes emociones que produce la música Rock. Una vez leí en una revista, que el Rock era una de las drogas más fuertes, ya que una vez que lo pruebas no hay vuelta atrás. Yo lo hice una vez y no me arrepiento de siempre querer volver por más.
