Whitesnake - Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues

David Coverdale ama el Blues, y creo que él cambiaría su vida actual por haber sido llevado de África a Estados Unidos con tal de estar con un par de sufridos amigos siendo el creador de uno de los estilos musicales que no sólo está conectado con el hombre, sino que es el hombre en si mismo.

Walking In The Shadow of The Blues lo podemos apreciar en el disco Lovehunter de 1979 y es una prueba sonora de lo que Coverdale quizás escuchó desde muy pequeño allá en Europa y lo marcó tanto que lo incluyó siempre de una u otra forma en sus creaciones rockeras.

Este tema ligado al blues, la música del corazón, habla de un hombre cuya vida ha sido marcada por la desventura, los malos entendidos, los prejuicios, la mala suerte y todos los etceteras que implican hacer que tu vida sea un calvario. Sin embargo, él la acepta, él dice que es la vida que decidió vivir y nada en este mundo le hará cambiar esa decisión de seguir sus ideales no importa que tan difícil sea la cuesta.
