Guns N Roses - Paradise City

Que lo lleven a una ciudad paradisíaca donde el pasto sea muy verde ( fumable quizás) y donde las chicas sean muy lindísimas era lo que pedía Axl Rose en 1987, interpretando Paradise City en aquel excelente álbum llamado Appetite For Destruction. Este es un tema ícono, que como recordarán era la guinda de la torta en los conciertos de los Guns N Roses.

Como todos saben, sólo le bastaron un par de años a Axl y la banda lograr llegar a la ciudad de sus anhelos. Un poco más atrás estaba el pobre Slash, que según las malas lenguas, a las chicas sólo alcanzaba a mirarlas en el verde pasto antes de quedar K.O.

El fenomenal Paradise City no creo que tenga mucho para ser analizado, es quizás un tema que habla de la niñez difícil de una persona que no tuvo nada en este mundo y que con el tiempo tiene todos los medios para cumplir sus sueños gracias a la fama y el éxito. Quizás por eso Axl llega atrasado a los conciertos, él debe pensar que lo bueno no aparece asi como asi, de repente.
