Fools Garden - Lemon Tree

El grupo alemán Fools Garden (ex Fool's Garden) conoció de cerca la efímera fama allá por el año 1995 cuando lanzaron el single Lemon Tree de su segundo disco Dish Of The Day. Este es un tema bastante relajado que también tiene su puesto a la hora de recordar la música de la década recién pasada. Y a pesar de tener seis discos editados da la impresión que nunca más lograron un tema relativamente exitoso como este.

Esta canción tiene varias interpretaciones. Algunos le dan una connotación a modo de metáfora acerca de la relación de pareja entre el protagonista y la mujer que ama. Él está tratando de comprender el porqué ella vive hablándole de amor (el triste cielo azul) si al final sabe que siempre terminarán dominados por la lujuria (el limonero amarillo).

Todo esto le trae un sentimiento de gran inseguridad y tristeza al pensar en ella y lo poco serio que se toma la relación entre ambos. Probablemente, viva temiendo que esta falta de compromiso le permita a esta mujer decirle las mismas cosas a otro sujeto. Pero nada puede sacarla de su cabeza. Sobretodo, en aquellos momentos de soledad y aislamiento que lo martirizan por no tener ninguna actividad o algo diferente que hacer para despejar su mente y olvidarla aunque sea un instante.
