Samantha Fox - I Wanna Have Some Fun

La pequeñita y potente Samantha Fox (n. 15 de Abril de 1966) llegó a mis ojos y oídos con el single I Wanna Have Some Fun (1988) de su tercer álbum del mismo nombre. Si mal no recuerdo, esta Ariana fue la competencia de la cantante Sabrina Salerno en el Pop y en muchas otras cosas más aparte de mostrar su pop. Y hay que decir que salió igual de bien parada que la Italiana de Boys, Boys, Boys.

Recuerdo haberla visto en uno que otro programa estelar de visita por nuestro pais y también recuerdo que el diario La Cuarta la tenía de regalona con sus fotografías semi desnudas que fue lo que partió haciendo a los dieciseis años y lo que la hizo también muy popular en el mundo.

Y la letra: Pues nos habla de una chica cansada de una pareja celosa y trabajólica que no tiene tiempo para ella. Asi que decide tomarse una noche libre para pasarlo bien de una vez por todas en cuerpo y alma con o sin su aburrido amante.

La canción I Wanna Have Some Fun tiene ese típico sonido dance-pop de finales de los 80 y principios de los 90, asi también el video clip que recrea esa época tan colorida. Sin embargo, y a pesar de encontrar bonita a esta chicoca, siempre he pensado que su imagen, música y videos de aquella época eran un poquito rasquitas o muy poco elegantes por asi decirlo.
