Sodom - The Saw Is The Law

Acabo de sellar un negocio para conseguir el disco Better Off Dead (1990) de Sodom y nada me puede hacer más feliz. Tantos años de mp3 se han visto recompensados por encontrar la versión cd original de este buen album de Thrash Metal alemán.

Ya lo dije una vez, Better Off Dead no está entre lo mejor de la discografía  de acuerdo a la embrionaria fanaticada de estos corrosivos teutones. Pero no todo deber ser siempre lo mismo, un poco de variación musical es aceptable si esta no pierde calidad,  y este plástico rebosa de eso.

Para rememorar este gran momento esta vez me quedo con la canción The Saw Is The Law en donde Tom Angelripper podría decir que en este mundo los que mandan lo hacen con mano dura y cortante. O también simplemente podría estar hablando de la película The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) que cuenta la historia de Leatherface, el sanguinario sicópata dueño de una motosierra que arrancaba de raíz cualquier parte del cuerpo de aquellos que se cruzaban en su enfermizo camino.
