Ya necesitaba postear esta canción que anda en todos mis reproductores de música como si de un virus se tratara. Y es que Games People Play de Alan Parsons Project es y será una canción fresca y llena de vitalidad aunque hayan pasado muchos años desde su creación. Y los que me conocen saben que no debe faltar en una reunión familiar o con amigos una y otra vez girando y girando.

Y de que habla este conceptual tema: Pues de un hombre que vive solo con su mujer después que todos los hijos se han marchado y el nido vacío no es una situación estresante si no el regreso a esos momentos de juventud un poco impulsivos y cargados de buena suerte si se cree que a pesar de los problemas siempre sale la luz.

En este caso, nuestro protagonista le dice a su mujer que podrían dejar su monótona y aburrida existencia para embarcarse en la aventura de apostar en algún casino todo el dinero que poseen. Y la canción deja en claro que este hombre cree tener la suerte de su lado y que nada lo detendrá para obtener lo que le espera en el medio de una favorable noche que hasta el momento sólo está en su senil y aún positiva pero arriesgada mentalidad.
