Guardian - Time Stands Still

Los Hard Rockeros Guardian comenzaron a principios de los 80 con su música, pero fueron los años 90 los que les dieron notoriedad, sobretodo con los discos First Watch (1989) y Fire & Love (1991) del cual rescato Time Stands Still que no fue un gran éxito a pesar de su fuerza y caña. Y es cierto, los seguidores de Dios también tienen sus canciones para menear la cabeza tal como los aliados del Maligno, pero hay que aceptar que a veces estos últimos son más virtuosos y mejores compositores.  

 

Time Stands Still nos habla acerca de un hombre Cristiano que tiene un gran problema. En este caso la rueda de la vida lo tiene en el lugar más bajo y con el agua más arriba del cogote. Y este sujeto siente que el mundo se detiene justo cuando más necesita de Dios o cuando la vida no le está jugando de forma favorable. Pero Dios también le habla y le dice que para cosa y momento hay un tiempo y que la fe debe ser mantenida no sólo cuando se está bien si no cuando a veces uno es puesto a prueba. 

 

Al final las respuestas llegan y al final este padre celestial escucha y libera ataduras si uno mantiene el amor por Él. Y es que el camino aunque sea difícil, para un hijo de Dios jamás será imposible de superar.
